Who is Alex Key? Many people have asked that after seeing his bus rolling down the highway with his picture on the side, or a viral video on social media featuring one of his songs.. However, they’re soon after finding out that Alex Key is a traditional country singer, songwriter and Nashville recording artist who believes in reviving the classic country sound and maintaining a strong pedal steel and fiddle presence in his music! Alex comes from a small town in NC called Wilkesboro where he grew up on multi-generation family farm listening to music inspiration of all kinds. His mom (and personal manager, Karen) raised him on some of the greats like George Strait, Alan Jackson, Randy Travis, etc.. and this is where Alex believes his love for classic country began. Fast forward to present day; Alex's new album titled "Outdated" (May 10, 2024) debuted at #1 on Amazon music best sellers and new releases, #14 on the iTunes Charts, and has seen over 300,000 album streams in the first 2 weeks since release! A single released ahead of the album ("Haunted House" - October 2023) spent over a week in the top 200 iTunes Charts and saw viral success on Tiktok, instagram, and facebook gaining millions of views on those platforms! His album released in august 2022 "Neon Signs and Stained Glass" also debuted #1 on Amazon music with viral songs like "Tomorrow I'll Be Over You" and "Everything Must Go!" Rewind back to 2021, his spring album release “Barstools and Saddles” hit the top 40 on iTunes world wide country charts multiple times after songs like “The Fool That I Am” “Sleep Talking” and "The Cowboy Stayed" went viral on TikTok! His music has now been streamed 24 million + times and featured on Major outlets such as CMT, Saving Country Music, Country Music People Magazine, and more.. Talk about coming onto the scene with a bang! Alex was also a large part of the revitalization of the North Wilkesboro Speedway, during which time he released his song "We Want You Back" and the video filmed at the speedway with cameos of NASCAR icons like Jeff Hammond and Bobby Labonte.  With now almost 800k followers across his socials, it’s safe to say he has large and devout fan base. Alex was nominated for JMA Male Country Artist of The Year, of which he was greatly honored to win and accept at the Grand Ole Opry House on October 23rd! These are all great feats for a completely independent artists who writes all of his own music!

   When it comes to hitting the stage, He and his amazing band are drawing, captivating and engaging the audience with his throwback originals, as well as their take on hit covers from the legends! Alex’s shows are always family friendly and he wants people of all ages to come and enjoy the experience.. They’ve toured over many states playing concert series, festivals, venues. Often headlining, but sometimes opening for/appearing on lineups with artists such as Eli Young Band, Muscadine Bloodline, Little Texas, Chayce Beckham, the Kentucky Headhunters, Wynonna Judd, Tyler Childers, Craig Campbell, Jacob Bryant, Whey Jennings and more. 

   From the time the bus and trailer roll into town, to when the lights come up, until the time they roll out; Alex and his crew are a well-oiled honky tonk machine ready to bring that classic country sound to you, wherever you may be!
